Living the dream is not so much what you have but how you enjoy it!

Our busy Boule-in life is happily split between two very beautiful homes in the hearts of two very lovely, if distinctly different, villages. Each offer a quality of life and a seasonal character and lifestyle of their own so it is only by Living It that we can truly relish what we have, blending the best of British life with authentic French style: Entente Cordiale!

Maison Boule-in
Maison Boule-in was acquired in 2016 having lived and rented in Cotignac since 2008. It’s a magical village and a beautiful town house that’s been an inspiring adventure to restore, fabulous to fill, to live in and to share…
The house is available to rent during the months of April, June and September: Please contact us for more information.

1st floor - bedroom 1

Referred to as the Chinese Room due to the 19th Century chinoisserie basin stand and ceiling light.  The super king size bed and accessories use Hugh St Clair turquoise ovals fabric.

1st floor - bedroom 2

The Alcove bedroom is a delightfully light and floral room boasting an authentic marble fireplace as well as an alcove where the king size bed is flanked by glass side tables and toleware light fittings.

1st floor shower room

A large walk in shower, corner basin and loo complete this airy room situated conveniently between the two first floor bedrooms.

2nd floor shower and utility room

Another walk in shower, large heated towel rail, basin and loo make this a stylish washroom.   Cleverly hidden behind antique French windows stand the washing machine, tumble drier and airing cupboard.

2nd floor kitchen & living area.

This fabulous space, originally the grainage used to store animal feed, is the most frequented area of the house during the summer months.  Flooded with light and furnished with an eclectic mixture of retro-industrial and Provençale, the room is dominated by a large street light (originally from London’s Embankment!).  The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, fridge and utensils – so there is no need to run up and down stairsto the ground floor!

3rd floor mezzanine and balcony

The south facing balcony overlooking village life is a sun trap during winter and summer months alike.  Concertina glass doors open up the space enabling the whole household to enjoy a spot of sunbathing or people watching….

3rd floor bedroom

With a hint of 1950’s style together with a touch of 70’s Vallauris, our favorite balcony bedroom is for those who love a coffee at first light – or a glass of wine watching the sun go down.  The king size bed is also perfect for those who want to retreat from the midday sun….
