RECIPE OF THE MONTH TARTE AU CITRON

I'm a nightmare in our ever popular local boulangerie as the queue usually means that by the time I’ve got to the counter my single baguette order has usually increased to include another savoury and a tart delicacy of the day! My favourite of all sweet treats in France is the Tarte au Citron especially in summer months when a slice can be accompanied by a scattering of strawberries or fresh raspberries. When in France nothing compares to the one from our local boulangerie, they top theirs with a twist of meringue to make it even more fabulous!
