We are proud to support three regular charities which are close to our hearts; Macmillan Cancer Support, Combat Stress and The Bildeston Church Restoration Fund. We donate a proportion of profits spilt equally between our charities after each event. Donations are welcome.

MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT

Macmillan Cancer Support is an incredible charity which has touched our lives and whose support during a difficult time has been invaluable. The palliative care offered by MacMillan Nurses goes well beyond assessing and treating cancer patients as they offer sensitive counselling and emotional support to both family and patients alike. COMBAT STRESS

Combat Stress is a military charity very close to our hearts. Founded after WW1 when the dramatic effects of trench war and mental trauma was first recognised as Shell Shock, it has worked tirelessly to support what is now recognised as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This wonderful charity offers invaluable support to Veterans’ who are ever more frequently affected by the pressures of warfare: Personally we have experienced this charity’s superb support for which we will always be grateful. BILDESTON CHURCH RESTORATION FUND

Bildeston church, St. Mary’s, like so many beautiful ‘wool’ churches in Suffolk was built at a time of great wealth in the area. It boasts a fabulous array of angels from its vaulted ceiling and is a place of ancient retreat and quiet meditation whatever faith one holds. It’s also a huge building which is now unable to support much needed restoration. We love this old building which has stood watch over our village and local community for the past 800 years and want to preserve its beauty for future generations to enjoy. Find out more…
