French 18th Century Nevers Polychrome Hand-painted Platter

This is a wonderful example of a late 18th Century French platter from Nevers. The vibrant, hand-painted polychrome design is as fresh today as when it was created. The blue and orange colours of the floral centre are surrounded by a swag and bow design border. In excellent condition for its age, this would enhance any collection or as a focal point in a modern-rustic setting.
